Great Grape Garden
Hays, KS

Don Butcher shows his backyard in Hays, where the beans climb and the grapevines twine. A retired geologist and self-professed 'vegetable man', Don has turned a relatively small space into a Garden of Eatin', filled with fruit trees, potatoes, beans, and sweet table grapes. He's also created some unusual garden ornaments from bits and pieces of the tools of his profession, including water and oil well drilling equipment.
