Going Native in the Texas Panhandle
Amarillo, TX

Angie Hanna introduces Skip to the term 'extreme gardening', a phrase she coined after moving from a Wisconsin dairy farm to the high and dry climate of the Panhandle. Angie's boundless curiosity about the world of gardening has led her to self-study of native plants and gardening techniques for the area, and the establishment of a very impressive website at http://www.highplainsgardening.com/. When Angie is not in her own garden she can often be found volunteering her time and expertise at the Amarillo Botanical Gardens.
