Robert and Kathleen Fields have created a leafy haven in the backyard of their Amarillo home. Being in an older section of the city, the house came with trees and shrubbery that had developed some size over the years. The more traditional plantings in the front yard contrast to the private retreat in the rear, where Kathleen's 'freedom to grow' credo has created a thriving botanical retreat.
