High Plains Morning Airs Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
High Plains Morning is a show that features great acoustic music from jazz traditions, blues, bluegrass, world traditional music, cutting edge new music, folk, and so much more! It's a great blend of music you may be familiar with and some you've never heard before. Tucked neatly into the bottom of each hour, we have informational segments like Medical Edge, a health program from The Mayo Clinic. Plus, every morning at 10:30, tune in for High Plains Features, locally produced shows highlighting the unique characteristics of the High Plains Region. We keep our eye on the weather and community events while enjoying a great blend of music that is nothing short of a typical High Plains Morning - it's never the same show twice!
This week's featured artist Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to noon on High Plains Morning

Singer-songwriter Judy Collins has a career now spanning five decades. Collins has been a leading interpreter of songs ranging from traditional folk to Leonard Cohen and Stephen Sondheim as well as her own stunning compositions. As one NPR listener recently commented: "If there are angels, this is what they would sound like."
Our next Living Room Concert in Garden City is gonna be something extra special! Lisa Markley’s music is an exuberant blend of Jazz, Folk and Blues--her diverse style defies categorization. A multi-instrumentalist, Lisa graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Music Composition. Her live shows find Lisa pulling no punches: she sings, plays guitar and piano, and engages the audience in her unique style of storytelling and wit. ...more...
