Beth Golay
Beth Golay serves as KMUW's Director of Marketing and Digital Content. She is the host of the KMUW podcast Marginalia, creator of the podcast You're Saying It Wrong,and NPR StoryLab Workshop team member on the award-winning podcast My Fellow Kansans. Beth also produces several KMUW commentaries, for which she received honorable mention from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters in 2018 for Cooking With Fire and again in 2019 for An Artist’s Perspective. Beth has also been honored with a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for excellence in social media, and recognized for her work on the station's website, KMUW.org.
Beth has interviewed hundreds of authors since Marginalia was launched in 2016, and she accomplishes most of her reading on the bus. (She’s a Route 21 gal.) It was her experience as a bus commuter that inspired Beth to produce the En Routesegment for KMUW’s weekly news program The Range.In 2020, Beth was honored with first place in the Editorial/Commentary category from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters for her interview with Sylvia and Sam on Route 21.
