Easy fajitas for your next camping trip

iheartfris.co

Howdy, Folks!

Today, I'm going to share my secret recipe for making fajitas when I'm camping.

Easy Camp Fajitas

You'll need:
1 Turkey breast, deboned and cut into strips (or meat of your choice)
1 large reseal able bag
1 lemon
Fajita seasoning (I use Fiesta beef fajitas seasoning on everything)
2 strips bacon diced
3 medium jalapeno peppers
1 head garlic
Cast iron skillet or wok
Olive oil

Cut the meat into strips.

Cover the meat completely with seasoning

Squeeze the juice of your lemon into the bag

Move it around to well in the bag to incorporate the juice

Let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 18 hours

Put diced bacon in wok or skillet over a fairly warm heat, add head of garlic mashed and pepper diced.

Cook until translucent, about 2 minutes

Dump entire bag of seasoned meat into skillet.

Cook until meat is done, usually about 5-7 minutes.

Serve on warmed tortillas with chunky picante sauce, cilantro, sour cream, and anything that sounds good.
