High Plains Voters Only Have A Few Weeks Left To Register

This year’s midterm elections are less than eight weeks away, and voter registration deadlines are fast approaching for states across the High Plains. If you haven’t yet registered to vote, you have only have a few weeks left to do so.

In Kansas, voters have until Tuesday, Oct. 16 to register. Nebraskans will have until Friday, Oct. 19 to register, while in Oklahoma, you’ve got until Friday, Oct. 12 to sign up. Colorado has the most lenient registration deadline, with voters allowed to register up until election day. Texas has the strictest deadline on the High Plains; you’ve only got until Tuesday, Oct. 9, to sign up in the Lone Star State.

The stakes are high this year, with the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives hanging in the balance, and with governorships and statewide and municipal offices up for grabs.
