KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. ‘What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World’ is the 7th release from Portland, Oregon’s The Decemberists.

Initial reviews are calling the band a more seasoned and mature collective than in the past. Having built their reputation on Colin Meloy’s penchant for storytelling, the new record focuses on more personal themes - love, loss and change.

We will listen to each track from this beautiful record this week on High Plains Morning.
