Turkey With All the Fixin's
We pull up a chair in the kitchen of the Harness family as they prepare for their Thanksgiving feast. We then go to the O’Neil farm with Skip Mancini where turkeys rule the roost and have the run of the pasture. We also meet a special wild turkey named Gimpy with Learning the Birds host Ruth Beasley and Marc Anthony goes on a pheasant hunt for a turkey alternative. 
Stacy Yates shares the fictional account of the very first Thanksgiving on the High Plains and John Black brings us three special songs to enhance our holiday mood. 
Valarie Smith recalls her first Thanksgiving abroad and the attempts to share this peculiar American Holiday with new friends. Mary Palmer visits with three families who immigrated to America, about their blending of traditions from their birth countries with their new home country. Mark Haslett concludes our buffet with the stories of the people who have no place to celebrate Thanksgiving and those who work so hard to give them something to celebrate in a time of need.
