David Ryle—Live on High Plains Morning

This week, we had a touring singer-songwriter in the studio. David Ryle was passing through Amarillo, and he’s playing tonight at Urbana Coffee Works on Coulter. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, David is a first-generation Scottish-American who plays solo soul/folk acoustic music with hip hop influences. He’s now living in Colorado, and his new EP, Manchester Gangster, is due out later this year. Click here for the full interview and his in-studio performance.

The project researches the origins of Lucinda Williams as an emerging singer-songwriter.
