KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR mix service or HPPR connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

Elk Camp: Last Day, Big Rain

Luke Clayton

Folks, this is going to be short and sweet because I am heading home from the Colorado mountains.  As many of you know, we have been up here at elk camp for almost a month, and this week has been suuum-thing.

We're hunting up here at a ranch outside Steamboat Springs, and we have had an unbelievable amount of rain.  The rancher tells me he's never seen this much rain in his entire lifetime.

I have been safe and dry in my tent, but my nephew's tent was washed away.  We're packing up for the flat land of Texas in the morning.  I'm a little anxious about the trip, but we'll be fine.

Take a listen to my last call from elk camp.

Until next time, be safe and enjoy the great outdoors!
