Bass Fishing: The nitty gritty details of deadstickin

Howdy Folks!

I tell you what, I wish we would have had 30 minutes to talk with Jason Barber about deadstickin last week, so I've done the next best thing.  I've brought him back again this week.

You've heard the phrase the devil's in the details?  Well, that's certainly the case with this technique.  Knots are critical.  You need to learn a good loop knot to keep your bait positioned just right in the water.  Another detail is banging on the bottom of the boat.  Jason uses a tennis ball on the bottom of a PVC pipe.  We don't know why this attracts fish, but you can actually watch them come toward the boat when you start making that racket.

If you have a few minutes, and hear it from the mouth of an expert.

You can also find out more about Jason online at www.kingscreekadventures.com or call 903 603 2047.
