Growing on the High Plains: Catnip Munchies

Today on Growing on the High Plains, I thought I would introduce listeners to the wonders of catnip. I don't mean a love bite from a feisty feline.

I'm talking about the aromatic herb from the mint family. While it does have some benefits to humans—especially gardeners looking to keep pests away—its magical properties really come alive when riling the hearts of kinetic kitties.

Listen here for a little history on my own experience with the plant, as well as its effect on our newest "meow-mber" of the Mancini menagerie.
