TUNED IN: Let Us Know What You’re Listening To

When it comes to public radio, we all have our favorites, right?

Of course, HPPR’s locally hosted music shows - take a bow,  High Plains Morning, Songbirds, Open Range, Western Swing & Other Things, and so on - fill my speakers with a bounty of awesome tunes.

But, my heart and ears are devoted to On The Media, the WNYC program heard on High Plains Public Radio on Sundays at 6 p.m. (Central) and Mondays at 3 a.m. (Central).

Bob and Brooke - that’s OTM hosts Bob Garfield and Brooke Gladstone for you non-fanboys - had me at hello way back in 2001 when I first discovered the hour-long show devoted to examining the media.

(Let’s admit it, your granddad’s public radio didn’t have GIFs of hosting munching on popcorn.)

This, however, is just one man’s opinion. What do you say?

We at HPPR would like to know which programs you never miss. Take our survey by clicking here. The beauty part is that you don’t have to pick just one; select as many shows as you like.

By the way, there’s room for suggestions of other programs you’d like to hear on High Plains Public Radio.
