WHAT:                 20TH ANNUAL SALT & PEPPER LUNCHEON—BENEFITTING THE CATHOLIC CHARITIES HUNGER PROJECT; PROVIDES FOOD ASSISTANCE TO LOW INCOME SENIOR CITIZENS (AGE 55+) & DISABLED CITIZENS (ANY AGE)

FEATURING:       LOCAL AUTHOR/POVERTY SPECIALIST, ELIA MORENO

WHERE:               ST. MARY’S CATHEDRAL GYM (1200 S. WASHINGTON)

WHEN:                 THURSDAY, MARCH 21ST — 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM

WHY:                    HELPS THE HUNGER PROJECT BUY FOOD FROM THE LOCAL FOOD BANK AND OTHER SOURCES TO PROVIDE FOOD TO THOSE WHO ARE ON FIXED INCOMES AND CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY FOOD + MEDICATION + UTIITIES EACH MONTH. THEY STRIVE TO MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE THOSE TOUGH DECISIONS.
