Today on High Plains Morning, we had a full house in the studio thanks to TWO SHOWS happening this Friday in Amarillo. (Scroll down for details!)
First, thanks so much to my guests from Chamber Music Amarillo, Karen Logan (Executive Director) and David Palmer (Artistic Director), for sharing highlights from the upcoming 2018/2019 season; it opens on September 21st & 22nd with Animal House. Plus, they told us a little more about their new Fazioli piano – a treasure for our High Plains region! If you’d like to catch it in action, don’t miss the recital this Friday night at 7:30pm. It features Evgeny Zvonnikov (West Texas A&M University) on violin, and he gave us a little preview. Plus, Diego Caetano (Amarillo College) will be working the new piano. These two head off to Brazil next week for a multi-city tour. We wish you safe travels, gentlemen!
