This Thursday, It's Garden Basket Time!

For those of you who have been loyal member-listeners of High Plains Public Radio through the years,  this Thursday will feel a little familiar. IT'S GARDEN BASKET TIME on High Plains Morning! If you're new to HPPR, let me explain: each season, HPPR's own Skip Mancini offers up a bounty of produce, jellies, and other goodies from her personal garden as an incentive to "grow" support for the station she loves.  Her weekly, award-winning segment, Growing on the High Plains, has been a staple of this station's unique, regional voice for decades—so get in on the goods! Skip and I will be live on the air together this Thursday from 9a 'til just before noon CT on High Plains Morning. Get in on the fun! Call during the show to enter the drawing for the basket, which will be hand delivered by Skip herself. (No contribution is necessary to enter the drawing.)  Quesitons? Call Jenny at 806.367.9088. Thank you for powering public radio on the High Plains, one asparagus stalk at a time.

Jenny Inzerillo joined HPPR in 2015 as the host of High Plains Morning, our live music program that airs weekdays at 9 am to noon CST. Broadcasting from KJJP in beautiful downtown Amarillo, she helps listeners wake up with inspired music from our region and beyond. Tune in for new voices in folk/Americana, deep cuts from your favorite artists, soulful tracks from singer/songwriters across the world, and toe-tapping classics dating as far back as the 1920s. Plus, discover underground greats that just might be your new favorite band.
