MORE ABOUT THE BAND: Formed at Austin College in the 1980s, The Tone Deaf Cowboys were one of the very first Americana bands in Dallas, and their unique amalgam of classic country, bluegrass, and rock helped usher in what was a new sound in that era. Frequent performers at the iconic Poor David’s Pub and Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse, this band of songwriters includes several members who’ve gone on to have music careers of their own, but has never recorded an album as a band before now. They are putting the final touches on the long-awaited full length album, Saturday Night in the Promised Land, which will be released this Fall. The band is reuniting for a tour and series of concerts in celebration of this project, and Palo Duro Jeep Tours will be hosting the very first one. Don’t miss this fun, special event!
