A can-do spirit is built into the DNA of the High Plains.
It was this pioneering mindset that inspired a set of dreamers four decades ago to create something the naysayers predicted was impossible - community-supported public radio on the High Plains.
Almost 40 years later, High Plains Public Radio spans parts of five states and fills the airwaves with unique offerings - from credible, fact-based news covering events at home and across the globe to slice-of-life features produced right here to a unique mix of music that can’t be found anywhere else on a High Plains radio dial.
The on-air portion of the Spring Membership Campaign has concluded. Yet, HPPR remains short of its goal for April.
If you’ve given already during this month’s campaign, thank you.
If you haven’t, please consider joining as a member-supporter. Click hereto join your fellow High Plains pioneers who make public radio possible.
