Affordable Care Act: High Plains Enrollment Numbers for November

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius recently announced enrollment numbers for the federal and state online health insurance marketplaces that opened Oct. 1.  106,185 people in the United States have selected insurance plans during this period. 

Individuals who have selected a Marketplace plan: 

  • Colorado:  3,736
  • Kansas:  371
  • Nebraska:  338
  • Oklahoma:  346
  • Texas:  2,991

The total number of individuals that have completed the electronic and paper applications to begin determinations for enrollment in a plan are:

  • Colorado:  20,492
  • Kansas:  6,061
  • Nebraska:  4,947
  • Oklahoma:  6,905
  • Texas:  53,904

Note:  Colorado is implementing its own Marketplace, the other states have Marketplaces supported by or fully-run by Health and Human Services.
The totals are for the period of October 1, 2013 through November 2, 2013 .
