Ballots Are Set for 2016 Texas Primaries

Will Culpepper

The ballots for Texas’s primary contests have been set, reports The Texas Tribune. In many cases, the primary races are expected to be more competitive than November’s general election races. You can go here to find a list of all candidates in all races.

You’ll see familiar names here, such as presidential contenders like Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. But you’ll also see some names in the presidential race that are probably unfamiliar. These include Republican Elizabeth Gray and Libertarian Star Locke, who is listed as a Democrat.

In the Texas panhandle’s congressional district, Congressman Mac Thornberry is running unopposed on both sides of the aisle.

Other important races include those for Texas Railroad Commissioner and Texas Supreme Court, and Texas Senate and House.
