Want to get to know Oklahoma’s large pool of gubernatorial candidates better before you vote in the primary?

The Tulsa Worldreported last week the 15 candidates' responses to questions about teacher raises and medicinal marijuana, which also appears on the ballot.

All candidates agreed that Oklahoma teachers deserve raises, but many of the 10 Republican candidates said they would have funded them by cutting costs, rather than raising taxes. Some of the Republican candidates, along with one of the three Libertarian candidates, are in favor of repealing the legislation. Both Democrats are for the original legislation and against any repeal effort.

Republican candidates were largely in favor of legalizing medicinal marijuana, but against the wording in State Question 788, because  as one candidate put it,

All of the Democratic and Libertarian candidates are in favor of the proposal.
