A new Oklahoma law changes the dates and times for early voting.  It now begins Thursday and continues through Saturday explained Texas County Election Board Secretary Glenda Williams in a press release.

Other changes are:

  • Early voting will not be conducted on Monday.
  • Saturday in-person absentee voting is between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The changes are the result of SB 869, which was signed into law in May, 2013.
More information is available online from the Oklahoma State Election Board.
