Who are the Most Bipartisan Senators?

Library of Congress

Tthe Lugar Center has released its annual list ranking the most and least bipartisan members of Congress. According to the list, the two senators least likely to cross the aisle and work with the other side are currently running for president. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont was found to be the most partisan member of the Senate. And just ahead of him, as the second least likely to work with the other party, was Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.

Kansans can take heart, as Senator Jerry Moran cracked the top ten and was found to be the eight most bipartisan senator. And both of Colorado’s senators were in the upper half of the list, falling at numbers 23 and 27. But besides Moran and the Colorado legislators, no other senators from the HPPR listening area made the top half of the list. Susan Collins of Maine was found to be the most bipartisan member of the Senate.
