Voter Registration Deadlines Fast Approaching Across High Plains

US Army

This year’s midterm elections are less than a month away, and voter registration deadlines are upon us.

If you haven’t yet registered to vote, you’d better hurry.

Today is the deadline to register in Texas. The Lone Star State has the strictest deadline on the High Plains; and one of the earliest in the country.

In Oklahoma, you’ve got until this Friday to register. Kansas voters have until Tuesday, Oct. 16 to register, while the deadline in Nebraska is on Friday, Oct. 19.

Colorado has the most lenient registration deadline, with voters allowed to register right up until election day.

The stakes are high this year, with the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives hanging in the balance, and with governorships and statewide and municipal offices up for grabs across the country.
