Conditions across the High Plains will be at our below freezing for most of the region.

From the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma, across western Kansas and in eastern Colorado, residents should prepare for sleet and snow today, tonight and into Monday.

The National Weather Service predicts total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.

Winds will gust as high as 40 mph at times.

There’s a hard freeze expected tonight for most of the High Plains Public Radio listening area.
