Rodney Meade was inducted into the Colorado County Music Hall of Fame this weekend in Boulder according to the Akron News-Reporter.

The eastern Colorado native was born in the little town of Joes.  He started singing and playing a number of instruments with his family’s band when he was a small boy.  Meade has also performed with his cousin, Arden Fennell, since he was 16.

Meade was seriously injured in 1982 while on tour with his family.  The accident left him disabled, but he’s still able to perform.
