Wild pork steak is every bit as tasty as venison and makes excellent 'smothered steak' with mushroom gravy and rice. Here, Luke has some marinated pork steaks ready to dust with flour and fry in his cast iron skillet.

Winter is an excellent time to hunt wild hogs. They come readily to corn feeders and most in Texas and Oklahoma are 'corn fed'.
