“The mentality and behavior of drug addicts and alcoholics is wholly irrational until you understand that they are completely powerless over their addiction and unless they have structured help, they have no hope.” ? Russell Brand.

Jeremy Whitlow is a 39-year-old man with a wife, six kids, and a good life, but it wasn’t always that way. His life was rough growing up. He got into drugs at a young age but found help to get his life going in a better direction. From an interview with Jeremy, we will tell you how he went from a lost boy to a troubled young man and finally a devout husband and father.

This piece was performed and adapted by Kyla Matthews and Syndney McDonald.
