It’s a new year, which means a new semester for students. At higher-education institutions across the region, administrators are gearing up for the graduating class to hit the job market. Today we spoke to Karl Kimsey at West Texas A&M University. He’s the Employer Relations Coordinator and joined High Plains Morning to share information about the forthcoming Spring 2021 Virtual Career Expo. It’s scheduled for Wednesday, March 3 (2:00 pm-6:00 pm) and Thursday, March 4 (10:00 am – 2:00 pm). Students and employers can engage via WT’s Handshake platform, which runs through WT's website. This event is geared toward WT students & alumni searching for full-time positions & internships; positions available will require a degree.  (Early registration ends on February 1, and the final deadline to register is February 10.) Click here for details. If you have further questions, contact Karl at 806-651-2345 or online here
