Longtime listeners already know how High Plains Morningloves lookin' out for our own, so when we heard Oklahoma's own Turnpike Troubadourswere slidin' through the Panhandle, we got one of them on the horn. Thanks so much to RC Edwards(aka "The Rooster") for sharing some time on the road with High Plains Public Radio -- and to Michelle from All Eyes Media for making some space for us at the show.

After an excellent set from Texas-bred country brother Red Shahan, the boys rocked and rolled the Starlight Ranch.

If you haven't seen any live music in a while, folks, GET ON IT! The talent toodlin' through our listener region is boundless! Cheers to all you touring artists out there.

Here's the full interview, folks. (I promise it'll explain the Travis Tritt laserbeam.)
