Colorado’s stay-at-home order was extended for several more weeks on Monday -- that among several others extended by Gov. Jared Polis. That as a few more confirmed cases of the coronavirus are being reported in the state’s eastern plains.
According to the latest statewide figures reported by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, there are 5,172 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 150 coronavirus-related deaths. Several counties in eastern Colorado are reporting additional cases, as follows: Morgan (19), Logan (11), Baca (9), Kit Carson (5), Otero (4), Yuma (2), Washington (1), Lincoln (1), and Crowley (1, resulting in death).
To help stem further spread of the virus, Polis on Monday extended the statewide stay-at-home order through April 26. Polis also rescinded an order requiring all Colorado employers to reduce their in-person workforce by 50 percent, since that was order was superseded by the stay-at-home order.
The state is also now under an extended order that limits evictions, foreclosures and public utility disconnections, while expediting the processing of unemployment insurance claims.

Polis also issued extended a one-month extension for filing and remitting state and state-administered local sales tax. More on that order here.
