KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR mix service or HPPR connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

Looking Back with Gratitude: 40 Years of HPPR

Join High Plains Public Radio for Looking Back with Gratitude, an historical retrospective of 40 years of making a dream come true: public radio on the High Plains. Stay tuned for our series of eleven tiny stories from the early days, including the 510 "KANZ Pioneers" whose time, toil, and talents led to the station network you enjoy today.

High Plains Public Radio honors these founders, as well as all of our member-listeners whose continued dedication has been the cornerstone of keeping access to NPR News, regional programming, specialty music, and community voices across our five-state region.

Posting on weekdays from Tuesday, June 9 through Thursday, June 25, you can view these “history bites” on our website and Facebook page.

Thank you for powering public radio on the High Plains for 40 years!
