KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at 15% of power, limiting its signal strength and range in the Amarillo-Canyon area. This due to complicated problems with its very old transmitter. Local engineers are continuing to work on the transmitter and are consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR Mix service or HPPR Connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

Giving Tuesday offers unique way to give

Update! HPPR's current tally for The Panhandle Gives is $29,155, and for Match Day, $2,967. Donations are still being counted, so stay tuned!

There are two great ways you can support HPPR through Giving Tuesday. HPPR is part of both the Western Kansas Community Foundation’s Match Day program running from November 14 to November 28 and the Amarillo Area Foundation's The Panhandle Gives program running from November 20 to November 28. You can donate through either program no matter where you live since neither program is geographically bound.

To participate in the Amarillo Area Foundation's The Panhandle Gives campaign

  • Give online by going to HPPR’s page for The Panhandle Gives campaign and making a contribution between November 20 and November 28.
  • Donate by check made out to THE PANHANDLE GIVES with HPPR in the memo and drop it off before the close of day on November 28 at a branch of one of the participating banks: Amarillo National Bank, Happy State Bank or FirstBank Southwest.

The Amarillo Area Foundation's Panhandle Gives campaign is offering a $680,000 Amplification Fund to be distributed to organizations in proportion to their share of the total funds raised. The more you give to HPPR and the more HPPR raises overall through The Panhandle Gives, the greater the share of funds HPPR will receive from the Amplification Fund.

To participate in the Western Kansas Community Foundation’s Match Day

  • Contribute on-line now at the HPPR’s MatchDay giving page –until Novemeber 28.
  • Write a check made out to Western Kansas Community Foundation (WKCF) and write HPPR in the memo section. Mail it to Western Kansas Community Foundation, 402 N. Main Street, Garden City, KS 67846. Be sure it arrives at WKCF by November 28!
  • WKCF will host a live event at the Gordmans Building, 409 N. Main Street, Garden City, KS 67846 from 7am-7pm on Nov. 28, if you would like to make your contribution in person.

The Western Community Foundation has pledged $100,000 in matching funds to be distributed to participating organizations in proportion to their share of the total funds raised during the MatchDay campaign. The more you give to HPPR and the more HPPR raises overall through MatchDay, the greater the share of the match funds HPPR will receive from the WKCF.
For any questions about giving to HPPR through the WKCF's MatchDay, or The Panhandle Gives, please contact Abby Killingsworth at akillingsworth@hppr.org or (800) 678-7444.
