Texas Governor Greg Abbott was more subtle in his endorsement, neglecting to mention the New York billionaire by name. “America does not have the luxury to get this election wrong,” Abbott said instead. “Republicans must unite to prevent Hillary Clinton from continuing the Obama agenda.” Abbott later added that, in his view, the “alarm bells are ringing.”
