KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR mix service or HPPR connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

Back in Kansas: Senator Pat Roberts

kansasagnetwork.com

It’s the season.  Representatives are back at home, getting in touch with their constituents. The Salina Journalreported Senator Pat Roberts, R-Kansas, was recently in Salina speaking about the gridlock in Washington, and sharing his stance on the following:

·        Immigration

·        Economic stimulus

·        The suicide pact

Roberts was there when Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated, and Washington was on fire.  Over the years he’s seen other assassinations, Watergate, the Vietnam War, the attempt of impeach President Bill Clinton, and “lots of tough days, really tough days.”

“In short,” he said, "These are not the worst of times, not the best of times by any means."
