Three Sister Pot Luck and Discussion on Ingigenous Ecology

The Kinsley Library is hosting a free "Three Sisters" potluck and Book Discussion on "Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants" by Robin Wall Kimmerer on October 1 at 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a a dish made from corn, beans, or squash to share at the potluck. Following lunch, Debra Bolton, PhD., a member of the Ohkay Owingeh Nation in New Mexico, will give an historical presentation on indigenous people and their relationship with the natural world.
