Workin' on It: WT Career Expo Returns to Canyon on February 17

HPPR caught up with Karl Kimsey, Employer Relations Coordinator at WTAMU in Canyon, TX. He's got another career fair coming up!

We’ve all heard a lot about “the job market,” especially since the pandemic. Thankfully, hiring remains strong in the Texas Panhandle, and WTAMU is hosting another WT Career Expo on Thursday, February 17th from 10a to 2p CT at the First United Bank Center (Russell Long Blvd. & 4th Ave.). We talked to Karl Kimsey,

Employer Relations Coordinator at West Texas A&M University, about the event. Hear the full interview on the audio link on this page.

Students do not need to register to attend the fair. It’s open to everyone looking for internships and/or post-graduate jobs that require a degree. However, there is a Pre-Fair Networking Night event, the night before the fair, and students do need to register for that event. For more information, visit this link or contact Karl at 806-651-2345 or by email at wtcareer@wtamu.edu..

***EMPLOYER REGISTRATION DEADLINE WAS 2/3/22.***
