Medicare can be complicated, but thankfully we all have ADVOCATES! Thanks to Lisa Hancock & Terrie Campbell of the Area Agency on Aging of the Panhandle for stopping by HPPR to let us know about the upcoming informational sessions geared to help those about to turn 65 years old.
Today on High Plains Morning, we welcomed these two devoted “navigators” from AAA of the Panhandle on the air to encourage those on deck for receiving social security and Medicare benefits to get the facts. The organization just launched a new program called “Destination Medicare,” and the first two sessions are coming up on Tuesday, March 29th from 9a-12p CT and Thursday, March 31st from 5:30-8:30p CT. They’re in person, but there’s also a virtual link to view the presentation from anywhere. (Click the hyperlink on the chosen date to access the online registration.) Hear the full interview about this by clicking the audio file button at the top of this page. To reach Lisa or Terrie, call 806-331-2227.
