Over 3,200 same-sex couples marry in Oklahoma

The ban on same-sex marriage in Oklahoma was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court last October.  Since then more than 3,200 marriage licenses have been issued reportsKGOU.  About 2,200 of those have been issued in the state’s most populous counties of Oklahoma and Tulsa.  Another spike has been in counties bordering Texas.
