KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at 15% of power, limiting its signal strength and range in the Amarillo-Canyon area. This due to complicated problems with its very old transmitter. Local engineers are continuing to work on the transmitter and are consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. Don't miss LIVE NPR COVERAGE of President Trump’s State of the Union Address—tonight at 8 p.m. CST on High Plains Public Radio.

The Democratic response by Stacey Abrams, who recently ran for governor in the state of Georgia, will follow the address.

Mary Louise Kelly will host NPR’s coverage of the event. She will be joined by National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson, Congressional Correspondent Susan Davis and White House Correspondent Scott Horsley, among other guests.
