KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR mix service or HPPR connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

The Kansas State University Foundation had its second-best fundraising year in history.

The foundation announced Monday that it raised $174.2 million in fiscal year 2018.

A portion of the money was used to create 170 new scholarships. That’s up from the 124 new scholarships created last year.

More than $37 million in scholarships were awarded through the foundation this fiscal year.

The university’s long-term investment pool grew to $539 million. The funds come from endowed gifts to the foundation, which totaled $106 million this year. Last year, the foundation received $61.8 million in endowed gifts.

Foundation President Greg Willems said the increased funds will help K-State reach its goal of becoming a top 50 public research university by 2025.

“The K-State family can be proud of what we have achieved together to support students, faculty, facilities and programs in fiscal year 2018,” Willems said in a news release.
