KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at 15% of power, limiting its signal strength and range in the Amarillo-Canyon area. This due to complicated problems with its very old transmitter. Local engineers are continuing to work on the transmitter and are consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. Kansas Issues "Stay At Home" Order For Kansas Counties Most Impacted By COVID-19

Some of the largest counties in Kansas are ordering residents to “stay at home” starting Tuesday.

Among them are Johnson, Wyandotte, Douglas, and Leavenworth Counties.

The orders direct people to stay inside unless they’re buying food, exercising at a healthy distance from others, going to the doctor, or taking care of other necessities.

“Essential businesses” like grocery stores, post offices, pharmacies, gas stations, and others will stay open.

The orders will be in effect until April 23.

UPDATE: Doniphan and Miami counties followed suit. Residents should stay in unless they’re getting health care or groceries, or doing other essential activities.
