KZNA-FM 90.5 serving northwest Kansas will be off the air starting the afternoon of Monday, October 20 through Friday as we replace its aging and unreliable transmitter. While we're off-air, you can keep listening to our digital stream directly above this alert or on the HPPR mobile app. This planned project is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining free and convenient access to public radio service via FM radio to everyone in the listening area. HPPR Connect moving to a new frequency in Amarillo

On Saturday, May 31, 2025 the frequency on which HPPR Connect airs will transition from 94.9 FM to 107.5 FM.

HPPR Connect on 94.9 FM has been broadcasting via a repeater for many years. Because the signal isn't from a transmitter, it has fewer privileges in the eyes of the FCC; meaning another broadcaster could (legally) move in on that frequency. HPPR has been aware of this possibility and recently received notification that a license was granted for the 94.9.

To keep HPPR Connect on air with out disruption, 107.5 FM has been reserved for use by HPPR. The change to this new frequency will occur either May 31 or June 1, 2025.
