Our translator station serving St. Francis and Cheyenne County at 96.3 FM is off the air due to an air conditioning breakdown at its leased transmitter site, making it too hot for HPPR's equipment to operate. We are currently working to fix the situation. We apologize for the loss of service and ask listeners to tune to KZNK at 90.1 FM or listen on line through the player above or HPPR's mobile app.

Punk Out on SATURDAY NIGHT with HPPR's "Punk & Disorderly"

Punko de Mayo is TOMORROW, folks! Punk and Disorderly, High Plains Public Radio's latest regional music program, comes to you for one-hour every Saturday night (well, Sunday morning) and is dedicated to all things punk rock.

Plus, Bryan joins Steve Johnson on Open Range on Saturday at 2p CT.

You might not know it, but punk is a wide-ranging genre of music that gets virtually NO AIR PLAY on radio stations across the US. That's why your host, Bryan Bihorel, will bring his knowledge and passion for punk rock to listeners across the High Plains. This show combines choice cuts of classic punk (The Ramones, Sex Pistols, etc.), second-wave punk ('90s punk, skate punk, thrash, hardcore), and new punk from artists keeping the sound alive today—including international and female-fronted outfits.

Punk & Disorderly debuts on May 5th, 2018 (or, as we're calling it: Punko de Mayo.)

If you want to reach Bryan, he'd love to hear from you! Send that punk an email today.

Jenny Inzerillo joined HPPR in 2015 as the host of High Plains Morning, our live music program that airs weekdays at 9 am to noon CST. Broadcasting from KJJP in beautiful downtown Amarillo, she helps listeners wake up with inspired music from our region and beyond. Tune in for new voices in folk/Americana, deep cuts from your favorite artists, soulful tracks from singer/songwriters across the world, and toe-tapping classics dating as far back as the 1920s. Plus, discover underground greats that just might be your new favorite band.
