NACHTWEY is only the seond photojournalist to be given the award three times. He's been to areas of conflict in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Lebanon, the West Bank, Sudan, the Philippines, Northern Ireland and more. A book of NACHTWEY's photographs, "Deeds of War," was published in 1989 by Thames and Hudson.
