  • Evan is a graduate student at Wichita State, pursuing his master’s in journalism after graduating from the Elliott School with a bachelor’s degree in 2017. He has enjoyed exploring Wichita since he moved to the city from Olathe, Kansas, in 2015.
  • Elizabeth Kulas is a producer on Planet Money. Before that, she produced shows at WNYC, Gimlet and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. In 2016, she was part of the NPR team that reported on the Wells Fargo banking scandal. That reporting won a George Foster Peabody Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award and a Sigma Delta Chi Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. Before falling in love with making audio, she studied Art History and German, with a focus on life in the former East Germany. She graduated from The University of Melbourne in her native Australia, with stints at Barnard College, New York and Berlin's Free University. Right now, she's entirely obsessed with space.
  • Grace Lotz is a Digital Producer for the Kansas News Service at KCUR. An Illinois native, she arrived in Kansas City in 2012 and has been at KCUR since 2017. Her eclectic background in music and marketing, paired with a lifelong passion for public radio, are the driving forces behind her laser focus on the listening audience of KCUR and the Kansas News Service.
  • DaLyah Jones is an assistant producer for All Things Considered and evening host. She is also co-host of the Two & Fro podcast. Originally from East Texas, this country girl found her way to “The City” after graduating from Texas State University with a degree in electronic media and a minor in communication studies. DaLyah interned for KUT, Texas Standard and was a part of NPR’s Next Generation initiative in 2015. When she’s not at the station, she’s stan-ing for Beyoncé.

  • Sarah Schneider comes to Pittsburgh by way of the prairie state of Illinois. She spent the summer of 2014 getting to know Pittsburgh as a reporting and photography intern with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. She now collaborates on special projects including the Life of Learning Initiative as the station’s PULSE - Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience - fellow. Sarah graduated from Southern Illinois University’s Journalism School in May. During her four years there she worked as a reporter and editor at the school newspaper, the Daily Egyptian. She has previously interned at newspapers in eastern Idaho and central Illinois. You can often find Sarah behind a camera documenting people she meets and discovering new places. She also enjoys reading, crocheting and National Geographic documentaries.
  • Bruce Warren is assistant general manager for programming of WXPN in Philadelphia. Besides serving as executive producer of World Café, Warren also contributes to Paste magazine and writes for two blogs: Some Velvet Blog and WXPN's All About The Music Blog.
  • Claire comes to KGOU from WBEZ in Chicago, where she was an intern on the city desk. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School. Claire has reported on street performers, temp workers, criminal court cases, police dogs, Christmas tree recycling and more.
