Aviva has profiled a biker who is still riding after losing his right arm and leg in a crash more than a decade ago, talked to prisoners about delivering end-of-life care in the prison’s hospice care unit and crisscrossed Mid-Missouri interviewing caregivers about life caring for someone with autism. Her investigation into Missouri’s elder abuse hotline led to an investigation by the state’s attorney general. As KCUR’s Missouri government and state politics reporter, Aviva focuses on turning complicated policy and political jargon into driveway moments.

In the past, he worked as senior producer for the podcast In The Thick, editor of CityLab Latino and City Hall reporter for El Diario in New York. Erik Neumann is a radio producer and writer. A native of the Pacific Northwest, his work has appeared on public radio stations and in magazines along the West Coast. He received his Bachelor's Degree in geography from the University of Washington and a Master's in Journalism from UC Berkeley. Besides working at KUER, he enjoys being outside in just about every way possible.

Robert Garcia is the Executive Producer of NPR Newscast, the unit that provides the most listened-to content in public radio with 28.6 million listeners each week. Garcia oversees the production and broadcast of 37 live newscasts Mondays through Fridays, and 24 each day on Saturdays and Sundays.

Kim joined HPPR as the Business Manager in April, 2024. She is a Garden City gal through and through having grown up and raised three wonderful children here as well. Kim loves local history and volunteers her time with the Finney County Historical Museum as a reenactor.
