Sound Medicine on HPPR
Friday 1:00 am

Sound Medicine is a weekly hour about health and medicine - featuring a lively blend of studio interviews, field reports and short items on topics ranging from nutrition to sports medicine, cancer to cardiology.

Sound Medicine is produced by the Indiana University School of Medicine in collaboration with WFYI-FM 90.1

Each week, host Barbara Lewis speaks with health-care professionals from around the country about medical research and how changes in medicine and health are affecting their work and patient lives. Her interviews are complemented by insights and peer-to-peer interviews by the program's five guest hosts who are faculty members at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Each program also features a Sound Medicine "Check-up" - a witty and timely feature from contributor Jeremy Shere.
