The Friends Sale is a Brown Bag Book Sale held several times each year as the main fundraiser for Friends of the Amarillo Public Library. Shoppers can fill grocery bags with books, movies, and music and pay just $7.50 per bag—or 3 bags for $20. The first night of the Book Sale is open to Friends of the Library only.
Friends of the Amarillo Public Library is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to supporting the Amarillo Public Library by financing projects not funded by taxpayers. Memberships may be purchased at any Library location or at the door on the night of the sale. Annual memberships are $10 for individuals or $25 for families.
